One Year Challenge
Church is family.
Church is kingdom.
Church is mission.
We are looking for strong disciples of Jesus who want to partner with us in building and growing a healthy church.
Our Church
We are a small, 50 member church. Despite our size we are diverse racially, generationally, socio-economically, and ideologically. Striving to be a truly multi-cultural family comes with many challenges that we hope you are ready to engage in.
We have a sizable Latino portion of our family with brothers and sisters from Mexico, Colombia, Guatemala, and Dominican Republic.
We have children from 4 months old to seniors in high school. We have children of single parent homes and children that have been adopted.
We have a beautiful and scary opportunity to be like Jesus in our care for the foreigner, the orphan, and the widow all within a small church.
Our logo is a speech bubble and a cross that intersect to resemble the letters GR. It’s inspiration comes from Acts 4:20 “As for us, we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.”
Our City
Grand Rapids is an ideal choice because it combines the pleasures and conveniences of big city life with the charm and affordability of a small town

Get your heart pumping a little faster on one of our mountain biking trails – Outside Magazine named us the “Best Town for Mountain Biking” in 2010. Or enjoy a run or bike ride on a paved scenic trail. The Kent Trails system can be accessed just 1.5 miles from downtown.
Our Needs
Campus
We need people who want to love students on campus. Parents are sending their children to us and we want them to feel confident that they will be taken care of. We have devo every Friday at our house with a home-cooked meal, games, and a lesson. We want to spend more time with our students and their friends.
Youth & Family
We need people who want to love the children of the church family. We currently have an intern who is helping us and doing an amazing job. But we are always looking for more help. We have regular Y&F events and devotionals and ramp it up all through the summer break.
Worship
We need people with musical talents. We need someone who wants to lead the music ministry for the church. We need people who can organize a song service, play instruments, lead songs, and lovingly lead the volunteers.
